Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP)
(i) Commitment to Net Zero by 2040
aip is unequivocally committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040. This commitment forms a core pillar of our corporate social responsibility and operational strategy, guiding our investment in sustainable practices and technological advancements across all business functions.
(ii) Emissions Reporting (Scopes 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3): Our most recent Carbon Reduction Plan, referenced above, includes comprehensive emissions reporting for Scope 1 (direct emissions from owned or controlled sources) and Scope 2 (indirect emissions from the generation of purchased energy). We also report on relevant Scope 3 emissions (all other indirect emissions that occur in a company's value chain, including both upstream and downstream activities), covering categories such as business travel, employee commuting, and waste generated in operations. Our methodology for reporting adheres to the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol Corporate Standard.
(iii) Environmental Management Measures Applicable to this Contract: When performing this contract, we will implement the following environmental management measures to minimize our carbon footprint:

Energy Efficiency: Optimizing energy consumption in all operational aspects related to the contract, utilizing energy-efficient equipment, and promoting responsible energy usage among staff.

Sustainable Procurement: Prioritizing suppliers and materials with lower environmental impacts where feasible and aligned with contract requirements.

Waste Reduction: Implementing robust waste management practices, including reducing, reusing, and recycling, to minimize landfill contributions.

Travel Minimisation: Encouraging virtual meetings and optimizing travel routes and modes of transport to reduce emissions from business travel.

Digital-First Approach: Maximizing the use of digital processes and documentation to reduce paper consumption.
(iv) Reporting Period: Our published Carbon Reduction Plan covers the reporting period of 1st July to 30th June, which is no more than 12 months prior to the date of commencement of this procurement. This ensures the data is recent and reflective of our current environmental performance.
